btw i am looking at these fans because with my case, while it does have 4 120mm fans there stock and while they are good, they are not THAT good maybe with these i can balance it out and have some good airflow

Yes, 75-80c isn't even hot, OC it some more, GPU's are fine up to about 95-100c.

Well to everyone their own but i disagree with that. they may be able to withstand temps like those but if your gaming at those temps for a long time expect to see some premature wear.[QUOTE="GTR12"][QUOTE="MW2ismygame"]

I think its 4yrs now on that OC, my GTX470 hasnt put a foot wrong either, with a 150 core clock increase.
I'll see if I can grab a screenshot tomorrow, meant to be 38c. It idles at 55c or so, and highest I've seen is 98c, it wont go above 100c, because it just downclocks itself.

Both of my 560 ti's never reach 75 degrees.

My hd3870x2 in my other rig idles at 97c ;p I put the fan on 3 percent because otherwise it's too loud, and the stupid thing never goes to 2d clocks. It's been working for an awful long time at this temperature too. I have the fan profile kick to 100% at 100c though. With my 275 on default fan it would hit like 90 degrees before than fan bothered going past 40%.
Now with a fan curve on MSI afterburner it maxes around 82 degrees at 60-65% fan which is cool enough and since i use headphones i don't hear it while gaming.
