Personally, I'm a Gigabyte fan. I've sworn off Asus since my M2nSli debacle lol. What boards do you guys like?

Damn, those crap nVidia chipsets really give people hell.. But whatever happened to the DFI LanParty boards? Those were great back in the days when the Athlon 64 was king...

they hung around till 775/am2+ then they were bought up by sapphire. sapphire now makes boards in europe

very good boards actually easily equal to anything gigabyte or MSI have put out in recent memory

dfi's last big board was a dual cfx/sli, ddr3, 775 board

My old Foxconn was a stubborn c***. I have a sabertooth with my current i5 2500k build and it pretty much has everything I could have ever needed... I'm not a heavy overclocker but I do overclock. I have had Foxconn, Asrock, Gigabyte and Asus... this is my first asus and since its my latest board it wins in the features department but gigabyte are pretty great. The Asrock was for a budget family build and its perfect for a just that, I haven't tried their more expensive models but price/features/usability is brilliant.

I really like my ASRock. I know they're a subsidiary of ASUS, but this thing works perfectly for me.

Hmm, I wonder why Sapphire hasn't released them in the US. The dollar is worth more than the Euro now, so it would likely be in their best interest...

MSI and AsRock make some great boards. Currently have an MSI 1155 board that has worked without a hitch since day 1.

Well I will buy any board that will offer the most features for the pricepoint. But my current is a Gigabyte I wanted a asus p67 board but due to the chipset incident the first manufacturer to make boards available took my money.

i am most of the time going with MSI in Mobo terms, even tho i just bought a Gigabyte motherboard, and believe it or not, Biostar has really turned out to be a great brand for me. Intel mobos are not bad at all (intel cpu only of course) in my experience (but dont ask me about the i-core generation with these motherboards cause i have no experieence with this processors. ASrock is a piece of sh!t, they always break down, ive seen this happen a lot at work with this brand. and ASUS is really a great brand but i never get a chance to buy one, since i always find a better choice in another brand at the same price.

I'm currently using a Gigabyte which is holding up well just past its 2-year mark.

My oldest PC: Athlon XP 1700+/GF4-Ti 4200/Vista Basic originally from 2001, has an ASUS A6M266 with the AMD 760 chipset. Rock solid PC.It outlasted my circa 2005 Athlon64 X2 4200+ with an MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum.
