My beloved ole 754 Athlon 3400+ :D Its never let me down yet. (but mind you i've never played supreme commander)
I might upgrade to a Pentium E2160 though, and overclock the living hell out of it. ;)
P4 3Ghz HT. Still runs everything well, so I'm happy with it.Sandro909
I have the same processor, going to update RAM and GFX Card this month. What games do you play or have tried that run well with that CPU?

I usually play stuff like Half-Life 2, Doom 3, Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142, C&C 3 Tiberium Wars, FEAR, CSS, Civ 4, and they all run pretty much flawlessly.

Same with you on the E2160 part - my local store only had E2160 and E6550 in stock - and since getting the E6550 would completely ruin the budget plan - I got the E2160, and plan to overclock to the max!
What exactly do you get out of that?[QUOTE="WhiteSnake5000"][QUOTE="MondoCool"]qx6700 @ 3.85 ghz 24/7 operationMondoCool
What does you exactly mean? I get pride out of it jk sorta... ^_^ anyways runs games fast, and great with adobe after effects
Yeah I know, but how much bettter do games run than they do at stock?Pentium D 945.
In the winter it was OCd to 4Ghz (from 3.4), but with the arrival of summer I realized I was overheating, so I ordered myself a new fan and brought the speed back down =D.
[QUOTE="DarthMaul135"]AMD Athlon FX-62 Dual CoreWhiteSnake5000Lol why did you get that. X2 6000+ is cheaper and better.
I ama noob when it comes to computers :/ besides I doubt the difference is big, so I dont care, im not as anal as most people about highest res, graphics, etc.
Show off :P LOL, I'm actually dead serious... I started building my first one with lots of books and help from friends, then another one, and then another one, and another one, etc. :PC2D E6600 at 2.4GHz.
[QUOTE="DirkDVD01"] From which of my +10 PC's do you want to know the CPU?

Intel Pentium D 3.2 ghz Dual Core. It was dirt cheap and runs very smoothly. Only downside is my motherboard cannot overclock it at all so i'm stuck at stock speeds.
My motherboards onboard network failed a few weeks ago so i'm not sure how long the rest of it will last, but when the board fully dies, i'll just do a full upgrade of all my parts than. I was able to squeeze a extra NIC in a pci slot so its fine for now. Not going to buy another Asus again though.
