GTX 295 isn't 2gb's...

My specs are in my sig. I use my computer for mid/high end gaming, photoshop, vegas video, adobe premiere, after effects, and transcoding.

Can't recall the price exactly since I've changed parts here n' there. Must have been $1,500 USD more or less.

Nothing fancy.

X2 7750 Black, 4GB DDR2-800, Radeon 4830, Gigabyte MA780, 750GB Samsung F1, 1TB WD Green, Antec Sonata III and a 500w Antec power supply.

It cost about $500 - maybe a little bit under in $US. I use it mostly for gaming and general office use, and the odd bit of basicvideo editing.

Well, it's been a few upgrades. Here was my rig when I bought it back in October of '06: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 w/ Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Gigabyte GA-965P DS3 rev. 1.0 HIS ICEQ 3 X1900XT 256MB 2x1GB G.Skill DDR2 800 CAS 4 Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic Seagate 7200.10 320GB SATA Corsair HX520 Gigabyte 3D Aurora case (original version) + 2x12" UV Cold Cathodes 2x LG IDE DVD RW drives Viewsonic VX922 Plus a few minor odds and ends including right-angle UV SATA connectors, three Scythe S-Flex SFF21F fans, and probably a few other little things I can't remember. Here are the upgrades I've made thus far: Mitsumi 7-in-1 card reader + Floppy drive Thermalright SI-128 SE CPU cooler Cooler Master RC 690 (come and gone) plus multiple high-end 120mm fans including units from Noctua, Enermax, Gelid, Scythe, Yate Loon, and Panaflo. Lian-Li PC-P50 (just arrived actually) 2x2GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2 800 Samsung 20x DVD RW SATA drive Scythe Kaze Master fan controller Zalman MFC-1 Plus fan controller Thermalright V2 (for X1900XT) XFX 9800GT Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo Samsung F1 1TB hard drive Logitech G11 keyboard Microsoft/Razer Habu mouse (come and gone) Logitech G9 mouse Plantronics GameCom 367 headset Samsung T220 monitor Various odds and ends (grommets for silencing things, cable sleeving kits, adapters/gender changers, thumbscrews, things of that nature) And I've got plenty more upgrades planned - including a mechanical switch keyboard (either a Filco with Cherry MX Blue keyswitches or the new Deck tactile keyboards with Cherry MX Clear switches), ASUS Xonar DS sound card, possibly a new headset (Sennheiser HD-555 most likely) and mic, tower-style CPU cooler, DirectX 11 graphics card, SSD, and maybe a few other minor things as I run into them. All told? Well, the initial components cost me almost $2k exactly, and all those upgrades have probably cost another $1k, with the upcoming stuff probably likely to run me another $1k.

Most of my specs are in my signature with exception of my Case(Antec 902) CPU Cooler(Dark Knight) and PSU(7500w) and I just bought some gigaworks T 20 speakers and a Razor Deathadder mouse.

Spent about $1500 US total.

I use mine for mostly watching movies and surfing and I will game every now and then.

I'm currently running this ancient P4 2.8ghz, AGP Radeon X800 XT Platinum, with 1.5gb RAM lol, but I'm finally getting my new computer next week as my parts are on their way. =D

Asus P6T V2

i7 920

6gb OCZ RAM

GTX 275

1TB HDD

Corsair 750W PSU

After some accessories and an aftermarket heatsink, I think it comes to around $1,400 US.
