Hey everyone, I was thinking about buying some games, but I wanted to know when do the steam sales usually happen? I know there is one for the summer and the winter, but are there any others? For example, are there any "fall" sales? Thanks!

Not sure about fall sales mate, don't think they do it every season. Only ones I'm aware of is Summer & Christmas I believe. I could be wrong.
EDIT: Also, when I say only ones i'm aware of is summer & christmas, I don't mean thats the only time they do sales, I mean sales on a mass scale as you saw this summer (which imo wasn't the best in comparison to previous). They will snag in a couple of deals though, like always during other seasons.
Ah thanks guys. However, during the Halloween sale which is the closest one right now, are most of the games usually discounted, or is it only ones that fit the Halloween theme? Like during the summer sale, they had mostly a lot of games that were discounted throughout the sale, is it kind of the same for the Halloween sale? Thanks again!
They have week-long sales all the time. Once every couple months it seems like they choose a publisher or a couple series and put them into themed daily sales. Just open steam once a day or follow them on twitter and see what's on sale.
Don't buy any PC games until the summer. I swear it hurts but you'll love it, I bought like 50ish(All high profile) games this year for like 180 bucks.
next one will most likely be the holloween sale, then the black friday sale and finally the winter sale. they also have a daily sale if you check steam everday. theres also the midweek madness sales and weekend deal sales....basically steam is a sale machine 365 days a year

You have daily sales, midweek sales, weekend sales, summer sales, halloweeen, black friday and Christmas sales. To answer your "theme" question, no, the only general sales are summer and winter, they don't do "theme" sales, only certain games that are always pretty random in genre get discounts each day on the other special events.
