when i install vista is directx 10 automaticly loaded?

Yes DX10 is build into Vista, so it's already there.

What graphics card do you have? If your graphics card is a DX10 card Crysis should enable those setting automatically.

It's possible thatCrysis forces directx 9 mode on lower end directx 10 cards.
