But doesn't "open beta" mean anyone can start playing? It seems like it's still invite only.

Within a month I think.

Maybe when that game is finally officially released, it will make me forget that Diablo 3 has yet to even be announced.

Also, I think it's rather amusing how this game is being better received than Hellgate: London.

Especially considering its being made by 2 coders.

I'm in the closed beta now, and theres been no official announcement about a wipe or the beta going open yet. They are still introducing new gameplay elements and zones, so I don't see it happened very soon. Fall seems likely.
