Ask Nvidia, no one knows the exact date. They're just saying March.

Thats True there seems to be no Ultra only 8600GT and 8900GS the GS seems to be the new Ultra.... 8900GS - 550/1600 - 256/512Mb GDDR3 - 256bit - 96 Shaders - 80Nm = $249/$299 USD

Well, IMO the new mid/high range 8 series should come out im March with ATI's X2800XTX/XT release, but looking at the chart I see no Ultra!?!?! http://www.guru3d.com/newsitem.php?id=4979

Yeah. No Ultra any more - and the prices have increased since the previous news article on the cards.

but here's the billion dollar question!!! ATi or Nvidia?! ATI $399 - $299 X2800XL 600/1800 - 512mb - 256bit - 96 shaders - 80Nm = $399 X2800GTO 600/1400 - 256mb - 256bit - 96 shaders - 80Nm = $299 NVIDIA $399 for either 8900GT - 600/1800 - 512Mb - 256bit - 96 Shaders - 80Nm 8800GTS - 500/1600 - 640Mb - 320bit - 96 Shaders - 90Nm

i think nvidia's doing their homework, they probly read the forums, when the first news of the 8600 and 8300 cards were coming out pretty much in every pc forum there were people saying how cheap they were and expecting them to be higher and now when we see new news they upped the cards, then again this is just my opinion. what do you guys think?
