I want to get a graphics card but don't know if a black graphics card slot on the computer is Express 16 or AGP. Please help. Thnx in advance.

what motherboard do you have? Try PC Wizard if you don't know.

the slot type doesn't depend on it's colour, e.g. u can have a red PCI-e or and yellow AGP...

just compare your slot to this ones:

Marlonsm's post should do the trick. PCI-E always is the longest.

Very few add-on cards use PCI-E x1, i blame creative :twisted:

The AGP card wont fit in the PCI or PCIE anyway..... but if you have two PCIE slots, the first top(maybe blue) and the bottom one(might be black), if you gonna use one PCIE card the use the top blue one, when you have a second PCIE card then use the bottom slot to SLI it.
