When the hell are the Steam Summer Sales Starting?

I cant remember what time last year they started. I SO need new games. I want Divinity 2: Dragon Knight Saga, Darksiders, Singularity, Street Fighter 4 maybe, the first STALKER game and then anything else lol. Maybe some more RPGs. Id really like an MMO but I cant pay for those anyway so...ya. Sadly I can only have something like a $30 budget for this sale but if you know those sales you know $30 can go a LOOONG way. :).

Dont think Ive seen a summer sale start in May before...

June or July is my guess but who knows, patience young jedi :P

I am sure you will see Stalker on sale during summer sale, it always is :P

A quick google search shows that last year the Steam Summer Sale started on the 25th June 2010 and ran till the 4th July 2010. I imagine this years sale will start on a similar date.

Going to take a shot in the dirt and say the summer.

Do you guys think they'll put Portal 2 on sale? I've never bought games off Steam and I'll have my computer by the time the sale starts, but I'm not sure if it's worth the $50.

lol I try to manage my backlog. Ive played everything I own thankfully. I try to just cycle through my games but I also dont buy something unless I know Im going to play it at least SOME. I look at what Ive paid for something and then justify it by looking at how many hours Ive played it. If I spent $7 - I want to have played it at least 14 hours. So I take what I spent and double it. Makes it easier on my conscience. lol. I mean either 2 hours for every dollar but if i really cant get into a game...at least an hour for every dollar.

As for missing Singularity - no, I saw it but I actually wanted to get it for cheaper. Im hoping to get Darksiders and Singularity for a max of $7.50 each. Thats one of the numbers you regularly see. I dunno - if I dont get those prices Ill bite the bullet and get each for a max of $10 each but I really dont want to with such a small budget you know?

LIIIIIL mention on that, for people in other countries that ramps up so people NOT close to an Amazon distribution centre, the price= roughly 60 US dollars haha, I love steam downloadable games because it means it cuts out distribution costs, thank lord inglip!
