Last time I Downloaded a Demo?

well it was today, I downloaded the oddWorld Demos off of Steam, at the End of Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus Demo It said Coming soon Fall 1998.

That Demo brought back a lot of Memories playing the Oddworld games:cry: I'm thinking about Buying them again.

It's good, I like it a lot :), from what I played it feels exactly like Sacred (which I loved) even better with very good graphics, the combat is also good, but I don't know if it was because I had a low level or because it was made like this but the combo system kinda took a step backwards :( and the same with the special attack, you can't engage multiple enemies with a special attack that lasts longer than your initial enemy. I'll have to play it more, but I loved what I saw.

I have only problem, the game in German is awesome :) but I really want to follow the story (because my Deutsch knowledge is pretty limited:P I won't enjoy it as much) so I hope at some point there will be a hack or something to keep the German dialogs and the rest in English (writing, descriptions, etc). I hope the English voices and dialogs will sound hust as good but I have my doubts. They put a lot of work in it and it's better than what I expected:).

Ouch, been a while.

I used to download piles of demos, everything I can get my hands on, but ever since demos got at 500+ megs, I stopped completely. I have one of those REALLY restrictive connections that only give me 2 gigs up and down combined transfer limit.

Additionaly, demos nowadays give you so little enjoyment that it ain't worth it anymore.

I still download demos and love them -- they still help me weed out crap (Mount & Blade -- some love it, I hated it), and find fun new games (love the new King's Bounty!).
