Any of the great strategy games; Civ, C&C, Starcraft, Warcraft, etc.

Massively multiplayer online games; Everquest, EVE Online, World of Warcraft, etc.

Space and flight sims: Freelancer, Independence War 2, Freespace, DCS World, Falcon 4.0, etc.

I know those genres are not inherently exclusive to PC, but they might as well be.

They are true Classic PC games comes to my mind that define PC gaming. all masterpieces 10/10.

notice all of good games today are one that resemble these games for example Prey resemble System shock 2 and Doom Eternal is HL2 of our generation in terms of quality.
