No. In pubs, I usually say "gg" only if I enjoyed the match and thought that it was actually good. If not, I simply say nothing at all (completely annihilating the other team is no fun, for example. The close games where teams are evenly matched are the fun ones.)

Saying "bg" exhibits poor sportsmanship imo. Makes you look whiney.

yes i will say BG when the teams where obviously massively team stacked of course thats if i'm on the losing end. If i'm on the winning side of a heavly stack teams i like to switch to the other side towards the end to try to push them to victory at the very end after all hope had been lost. The only geunine GG are ones the are close with evenly matched teams.

Tmes when I say GG is really it really WAS a good game.

Taking for example in MW2 - (or any FPS game minus the specifics in 2.) If it was one of the following

1. Laggy as hell.

2. Severely one sided (The otherside has a chopper gunner, AC130, 2 predator drones).

3. A hacker.

I will say BG.

I am astounded at the people who have gotten so blindly into the habbit that they even say GG when theres an aimbotting hacker that is blatant 100% and people at the end will say the usual "gg"s. WTF! DID YOU NOT SEE WHAT JUST WENT DOWN!? LOL!?

Unfortunately, my experience is different. If it's a team deathmatch base game, it's usually "My team is terrible", "You guys are horrible", "Balance the teams next game" or "lol...". I do try to be reasonable when Gaming, but it's human nature buds, espcially in very competitive games, lol...

Ive seen a few ppl use 'BG' before years ago when I used to play QuakeTF (after a one-sided match or someone is cheating/being lame,etc). It is sort of unsportsmanlike though.

In CS:S, people always say BG after a lousy war/scrim. Theres honestly no sportsmanship in just spamming gg at the end of a round in MW2 and also a lot of the time it can be negative eg; "16 - 0" someone goes "gg"...you sorta see what I'm getting at. It just realy does not matter,

Anyway, I tend to say gg whatever the case, because as a rule most players do play a good round. It's not the fault of the majority if a small minority are campers or use hacks. And even losing 16-0 and still being in the match shows good sportsmanship (unless they start coming up with excuses).

However, if the map sucks, I will say so - "gg but crap map" or something along those lines.

I've said BG from time to time after particularly uneven matches. Usually if i don't have a great match because i was playing poorly i won't say anything.

If the game was played honorably i say gg.

Yeah this pretty much. If i win or lose, I will usually say GG. The only thing worse than people who say Bad game are the people that go "ZOMG PWND NOOBS, EASY SERVER KEKEKEKE". Jesus some people really don't have a lot going for them if they get off by being an a$5.

I say GG all the time no matter I win or get beat.

And to myself I say "Ohh well, maybe next time"

Getting beat in an online videogame is no big deal to me at all.

I say bg when there's a hacker... because in my opinion that makes the game pretty much forfeit. Any other situation no, nobody likes a bad sport.
