So, like I stated. The field where one types for a site to visit, for example www.gamespot.com disappears whenever I move my mousecursor from it.

If I move the mouse to where the searchfield is, it pops down again. This is VERY annoying.

It happened yesterday, when I accidentically hit a number of buttons at the very same time. I don't know which buttons I pressed, so I now turn to you guys

How do I change so that it always is visible?

I am using INternet Explorer. Thanks.

Try re-installing IE or use a decent browser like firefox 3 or google chrome!

This is going to sound like an unrelated question, but what video card do you have? Some of nvidia's older drivers have been known to create issues like this. You may also want to check through your mouse settings (I suppose you've done that already). Have you fiddled with the pointer visibility settings at all?
