Where are all the "Two players on one pc" Games?

I was wondering, are there any worthwhile multiplayer games now days? (Or last 5 years)

I mean the two players on one pc kind of multiplayer - If for example I got to my friend's house, and we wanna actualy play together and not have one of us just watch and get bored...

That last game I can think off that realy owned that field was Heroes 3. Anyway, you guys got such recommendations? All genres, it can be even mini games, or a serious strategy game, anything.

I assume you have your PC hooked up to a Television since I find 2 player at a PC desk to be awkward. Most if not all sports games will support 2 players. Fifa and winning Eleven feature 2 player action.

could anyone recommend any good coop pc games ? i believe neverwinter nights 2 has coop over lan .. anything else in the rpg genere ?

fps and rts would work too, and i'm not too picky about older games ..anything thats fun to play is fine with me

baldurs gates and #2 have lan i think its fun but hard and unforgiving

Heroes 5 is out if ur into that serious (one of the best in series)
However has every1 forgotten the king of hot seat? WORMS?

Companies don't make them anymore (except Worms) because they found people were more willing to haul their PC over to a friend's house than swap the keyboard back and forth.
