Where are the good horror games?

It seems like half the good stuff that was supposed to come out got cancelled or is no where to be found. Any suggestions on newer horror games, including any indie games?

There's heaps of horror games out at the moment and coming out.

I can recommend the new Resident Evil and Alien Isolation which both scared the crap out of me.

Alien isolation is very scary

Alien Isolation is horrid imo. I got suckered into buying that and I regret the purchase.

Soma is one of the best horror games of all time. It isn't 100% horror, but very psychologically disturbing and dark.

Resi Evil 7 is awesome. The Evil Within is good too.

Alien: Isolation was incredibly long, and became somewhat predictable to me. The Evil Within was amazing, however. I can't wait for the second one. I'll have to give the others ago, I havent tried soma or res evil 7

Outlast and Outlast 2 were very enjoyable. Soma is another hidden gem. Any Frictional game .

Through the Woods is decent enough it's pretty recent and not available on consoles.

I know what means, games like routine and aslyium were announced several years ago, there in development hell I think

RE7 is pure horror at first then turns into an fps later on which is very welcomed.

Outlast 1 & 2 is straight horror and highly recommended

Soma is just as intense and very similar to alien isolation, both good games

Try Biohazard from Resident evil. Days gone will come next year and so is Evil within 2.

Mind you, Days gone is an exclusive for PS family.
