I don't think you can anymore, I believe Valve removed it once the game was released... trust me just buy the game.

I just can't justify that. There's no excuse for not offering a demo, and I'm not going to chance $50 on a MP only game that I only might like. I think this is ridiculous of Valve.

Sadly there are no demos of Counter Strike Source or Team Fortress 2. I think you might be able to get the demo from...other shadier sources...but aside from that you're out of luck.

There will probably be guest passes or a free trial weekend eventually. Just keep your eyes open so you don't miss it, again.

Yeah, that's basically what I'm resigned to. As for CSS and TF2, at least CSS had 1.6 to give an idea of how it played, whereas TF2 took a vast departure from Team Fortress, from what I hear, for the better. I'll probably pick up Orange Box now that's it's $30 for TF2, but until there is a playable demo orthe price drops to $30, L4D is destined for my "Curiosity List," but I'm asking my family to buy it for me for Christmas.

The demo is still on isohunt.com if you absolutely must try it out first, but trust me, it's worth the buy.

There is no such thing as a bad Valve game. Every Valve game has excellent community support. Where were you when the demo was out for a week. Dont think about it buy the zombie revolution now and enjoy it for years with mods, custom maps and coop awesomness assisted by the ai director.
