where did the Unreal Tournament 3 topics go?

hi, can anyone please give me the link to go to the UT3 subforum. I'm looking for a thread in which I've posted (I think the name was "This ends now" or something like that. made by a guy who was fed up with the complaints/trolls about UT3) but I can't find it in "My posting history" in my profile. has the topic been deleted? anyhow, I can't seem to find the UT3 subforums so someone please give me the link or even better, tell me how to get there! I can't find it with the search function.

UT3 is excellent, it just came out at the time when all those other shooters were released; end of 07. And it's tragic that it hasn't kicked off.

no I regret spending 50 bucks on it, just like I regret spending 50 bucks on CoD4.

I agree its tragic that the game hasnt kicked off, as the game is pretty good and would worthwhile with a larger community and (as with its predecessors) mod community.

But, like I said, it just isnt as fun as other games out there. Why play UT3 when I got TF2, CS, BF2142, and others sitting there. I bought into the hype, and I was let down...just like with CoD4, just like with Gears of War.

It's not like they didn't have demos :|. UT3 is the only one that i didn't play before buying but it had to be done sooner or later :) the collection wouldn't be complete without it, LOL I even have UT 2K3 and it wasn't that good.

thats cuz 2k4 is where its at! God that game rocked so hard, almost as good as UT1

I think UT3 failed because Epic is too obsessed with consoles nowadays. people have said it before, the pc gaming scene is dying, mainly due to such developers as Epic.

Nah it's perfect :) it's just harder to get used to compared to UT 2K4. All it needed to surpass 2K4 was Assault and wide open spaces :) and maybe it should have been just a lil slower, but mods will fix that up and if they will be good maybe most of the innactive players, such as myself, will start to play again :).

That, uh, that kind of supports Mr. B's argument. Survival of the fittest exists in economics as much as it does in nature - people buy the games they prefer, and most people chose other games over UT3.

If UT3 had been good enough, it would have been able to compete in the market. To say otherwise is to say the only way our product can compete in the market is if it's not competing, which is basically a euphemism for our game stinks.
