this is making me go craaazy
SoF2 was one of my favorite fps's of all time, and one of the most violent and gore game to date
the new soldier of fortune game is set for nov 14, exactly 1 day less than 2 months away today
and there is little to no info on this game on gamespot and on the net in general
ive never seen such little info on a game so close from release
if any1 has any news/screens/updates PLZ POST

It will probably be EXTREMELY gory, just like it's predecessors, so they might be keeping a low profile so maniacs like Jack Thompson wont set out on a crusade to bring it down
I can see his reaction.
" Women bleed?! Every month? Why...why that's...preposterous! It must be banned!"
Hope he doesn't get word of SOF3. It has the ability to be an awesome game. Although the fact that it is being developed for Acrivision value titles makes my heart sink...
Well, it's being made by a Slovakian developer... Ah, I got to love all the "big names" leaving PC exclusivity, allows these little eastern european gems to come into the spotlight! :D
To be fair, it'll probably be good - probably underrated and will slip under the radar - but it'll be good ;)
Sof was one of my first online shooters. Was way into. Sof 2, same thing, awesome game, i still wonder why games can't do hit detection as well as that game did like 6 or more years ago.
But hey guys, you know this game is being made by the guys that did deer hunter? It's supposively being made as a walmart title. Raven, the original guys aren't doing this game at all. From what i gather it's a budget title. I and others fear this is going to not be the john mullens we remember. To add to that note, i don't even think you play as mullens in this one. :(

dude, i hope ur wrong. i can accept Raven perhaps handing it down, as long as whoever does it does it right. if it turns into a Marine Sharphooter title im gonna stab ppl. i mean Ubisoft are doing Far Cry 2 and that looks sweet. but no John Mullens? i read somewhere that we was returning. how **** would it be if it wasnt him. they'd have to create some cheesey, cliche story line. UNLESS...they are gonna do a massive McTwist and place us in the enemies shoes...and the Payback is against Mullens. that could be interesting.
activision value software is the publisher
cauldron is the dev...Their website vanished a few weeks ago mysteriously.......
alright so i first heard this discussed on the pc gamer podcast. I was pretty POed about it. I did a bit of research, not much but enough to do some conferming. http://ps3.ign.com/articles/800/800047p1.html there's a link to ign.com article on it. And here's the first paragraph. Take noticed to the last sentence.
June 27, 2007 - The long-dormant, ultra-violent first-person shooter (FPS) Soldier of Fortune is returning to the front lines, Activision confirmed to IGN today. The publisher was mum on any details about gameplay, platforms, or release dates, and would only say that the sequel is currently in development at its Minneapolis office, Activision Value. Value is the publisher's budget title development studio, responsible for games like Pimp My Ride, Barbie, and Cabela's African Safari.
