Use your compass. If i remember correctly, it's way outside San Sirro on the desert. A few kms away from the army base i think, not too sure though. Anyway it'll show on your compass if it's your currently available mission.

Is it your next mission? If so, it should show on your compass. I think driving and flying training missions are marked with a RED color on the compass. If the mission is not available to you yet, it won't show. It shouldn't be far from the military base, try again. I'd like to help out more but according to a "certain somebody" :P, i'm not "intelligent" enough so now i guess it's up to "the smartest gamer in the world" to magically save the day with his "super-computing" brain.

i think it is a mission. so if u can't get it then ur going to have play a couple of missions to get the mission for being a pilot. i know this works on ps2 but if u high jack a plane and fly it for 30min then u can also get it.

Are you using a gamepad or a KB/mouse combo? I used the latter and it was hard as hell. If you're using the same, be gentle with the directional keys. To make turns, tap the keys instead of just plainly pressing it. Don't jerk the mouse around like FPS games, do it slowly and smoothly. Fly as slowly as possible so that you have time to properly adjust to make it through the red rings. In other words, use minimal thrust unless you're in a hurry. The real challenge will come when you do the chopper training. I don't know how a gamepad would feel but it should be better than KB/mouse at least. lol....i spent almost half of my whole game time on that training mission alone.
