the 5870 has been out for about a month now i think, and for some damn reason, ati have yet to release official drivers for the 5870 for xp...wtf is up with that?

right now im stuck using half baked drivers of the cd that came with the gpu, but they dont even provide a chunk of my resolutions/refresh rates for my crt monitor(such as 1280x800@140hz, 1400x900 @100hz, etc) and i tried some beta 9.10 drivers from guru3d but after a few days the it crashed out of a game saying the driver malfunctioned and performance for games havent been the same since, so now im back on the cd drivers

i love the performance when its working, but the driver support in general and for xp is dissapointing and simply unnacceptable for how long the card has been out now
