That's just a DX 9 update. The answer to your question, you are looking for nothing, you can't download DX 10 or 11, it's all already there. Why would you even look for them when your OS clearly states the installed DX version you have is 11? (run-dxdiag-enter)

run-dxdiag? sorry, my OS is in spanish...so...where can I see the current version of DX?

found it, thanks.

its DX11...is it doing anything to my PC? I have a Nvidia quadro FX 2500 and it didnt appeared on the supported cards list...so is it doing anything to my PC? improving the runtime of games or something?

The software is DX11 in windows 7. That means, if you have a DX11 compatible graphic card, and the game you're playing supports DX11, it will run in DX11. If you don't have a compatible card, it will run in DX9 mode (i'm putting this very simple), even if a game supports DX11. If you have a compatible card, but the game was made in DX9, it will run in DX9, no matter what. Your cad does not support DX10, and does not support DX11... So even if you're using Windows 7 and a game that supports DX10/DX11, you'll be playing it in DX9.

Your GPU does not do DX10 or DX11. Need a new graphics card bud.

well I dont want to get a new card because I dont want to keep this "On the long run" I preffer to save up for a new PC... this is a laptop, not a desktop, I want a desktop. and even if its a graphical design card, I can still run crysis on mid-high at 25fps, dont have any complains about its performance.

So what happens when you install an older game and it automatically installs an older version of Direct X ? does it get ignored or does it mess up your current version ?

I think this is a troll topic, I doubt that card could even run Crysis on low honeslty.

I don't think it'll run it at all.:P

Almost any PC game you install will force you install the latest version of direct x, even if you already have it. Also if you have windows update enabled, it will automatically download any new updates to DirectX. Also, when you install any copy of a Microsoft OS, Direct X installs with it.
