I've been trying to find a place to sell my old PC games. A lot of classics such as origianl Civilization, MOO, etc etc. Have some old Nintendo and Sega stuff as well. any ideas ? NO EBAY...I dislike that place with a passion.
anywhere else besides a nerd convention? any forums or classic gaming sites that you guys know of? I've been searchibng without much luck. I know there has to be some collectors or whatever out there. Otherwise, I guess about $2-3k worth of games are going into the dumpster...can't bear to let that happen, but what else to do with them?
I don't think there's much of a demand for used PC games, new ones or classics. If someones desperate enough for an old game that they can't buy new, they're probably more likely to just find a copy of it online for free.

You'd be surprised how much some collectors are willing to pay for older PC games. For example everytime there is a copy of Daggerfall on eBay, the bidding wars go up to 70-140$. Even though the game is legally free nowadays. So yeah, there is a demand for used PC games out there. Depends totally on the game though.
don't throw your games out, post a list here and some people might be interested. Plus if you are "throwing them out" I'll take them off of your hands for free.
Id say try craigslist, or just bite the bullet and use ebay. If you get to the point of wanting to pitch them, you may want to see if anyone will buy a few and pay to have you ship them.
Craigslist definitly. I've sold games for around 50 dollars that pawn shops at gamestops only offered 10 for many times that way. Many people on craigslist when it comes to videogames to seem to think about checking the local stores first.
