I had the biggest problem with the boss Raam of the game Gears of War. It was a furious and long battle in the train before I defeated him.

The Sarcophagus in Stalker SOC was insanely difficult, all monolith with exoskeletons and 1 shot kills with head shots, I remember I had to quick save like every time I cleared a room or killed somebody creeping in a corner. Was awesome when you killed them cause you could loot their dead bodies x)

Oh and also, most of the raid bosses in vanilla wow, (It's been a while so I don't remember the names) There was this raid in the desert in this giant underground temple and there were several raid bosses and I remember speficially there was this fight where the boss was these twins, one was onlysusceptible to magic and one was onlysusceptible to physical damage. Oh, and ontop of that, they healed each other every couple of minutes! That was a really tough one, christ it was also a real pain in the ass.

Twin emperors only healed themselves if they were tanked within range of each other. They were not possible if you didn't separate them. but yea, they were an awesome boss!

The Limbo boss on Dante'sInferno for psp, had to turn the difficulty down because I was up real late tired as heck and he had a cheap unblockable near unavoidable tongue move.

I was thinking the same when l just read the topic.

I found him extremely difficult even in the easy level.

Diablo in Diablo 1 ( Defeating Diablo was easy in Diablo 2. or at least it wasn't as hard as Diablo 1). I was nearly crying. I might add that I was playing with sorcerer.

The Elder Dragon in FFXII for some reason gave me the most trouble out of any boss I've encountered in a game (in the past few years I can remember). RAGE

That part is very hard. Plus I run out of health packs about that part and have to get lucky and die a lot in order to progress.

You go past the secret door and the game just keeps going on and on.

Then you refuse to join the C-Conciousness and you have to do that whole outside part as well.

Yeah, mean part, but so worth it once you beat it.

That thing in resident evil 5 that you find the flamethrower, it was not hard at all. It just took FOREVER, i mean FOREVER when i was complaining that every other boss when down too fast before i even start to enjoying it.

I always had a REALLY hard time with the final boss in Return to Castle Wolfenstein. He might be the hardest I've had to face.

I also found the final boss sequence in Psychonauts extremely frustrating.

There was this one dragon in... I think it was Legend of Legaia and he'd just cast one spell that'd wipe all three of my characters in one hit. The only way to beat him was to pray that you could kill him before he casts that spell, which was random. Spent freaking hours trying to kill that SoB.
