GIGABYTE GA-G31M-ES2L mobo $53

G.skill 4gb $43

E5200 $73

Total: $168

or

GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R $119.99 + $20 rebate

G.skill 8gb $85 (I have vista 64bit)

E5200 $73

Total: $278 ($258 after rebate)

I have a 4570 card now but I will probably want to upgrade to 4850/4870/etc in the future.

I personally would go with the second one to be a little more futureproof, but im not sure if there are programs that will need 8gb of ram.

Yeah no programs, and I'm not a heavy multitasker, but I've heard 8gb makes performance smoother, and tabbing out of games and stuff faster. Also I heard ram is supposed to go up in price around march

you are Better to take the best 2x2GB DDR2 1200mhz (overclocked) Or the Best Lowest Latencty 1066mhz then 4x2GB at 800mhz

I'd go w/ the first setup. By the time you need the extra ram you'll probably be looking to upgrade your mobo anyway.

Seeing that memory is so dirt cheap, it never hurts to buy the most you can get. Even if you never think you will use or need it, its always there in case. Thats a good buy
