I've been playing Crysis 2, and I wonder, if I'm running Crysis 2 nicely will Skyrim also run as smoothly? Both games specs are quite similar.

Are you kidding me?
Skyrim has horrible graphics and a 47 year old engine.
Skyrim only takes some beef to max if you mod it to hell and back.
skyrim is one of the most or its the most optimized game for pc .. i could play it on 1080 with 40+ fps and i could barely run crysis 2 in 1280x720 low ..yes my rig sucks but skyrim is just awesomly optimized .. but then there's the insane loading time though
I remember Crysis 2 running like a dream when it first came out. However, when they updated some of the visual effects and added dx11, the game ran like crap.
As everyone else have pointed out, Crysis 2. I didn't like Crysis 2 that much to keep it on my PC after I finished it (practically just Uninstalled it once i finished it), so i don't know how much VRAM is consumed for comparison sake.Â
As for Skyrim, playing on all max settings with AA and blah blah Vanilla @ 2560x1440, it uses around 1200MB-1500MB VRAM. With slight modding and what not, no ENB, just regular lighting adjustment mods, same settings, consumes 3900MB VRAM. (Using GTX 670 4GB...x2 but not really important that it's 2x cause VRAM doesn't add up).
