I'm debating whether to buy the elder scrolls obilvion for 20$, dragon age origins for 30$, fallout 3 for 20$, or grandtheft auto san andreas for 15$. All these games are on steam so if you dont recommend any of these could you recommend one under the 30$ price limit thanks. and i already have Tf2

I would narrow it down to either Fallout 3 or Oblivion. After that it's a matter of taste, as they are fairly similar games. Do you want a fantasy game, or a science fictiony game?

Half Life 2, due to the fact that you can get Source mods which make the possibilities for games endless, there are a lot of good source mods out there.

Look out for a game called From Dust for the next few days. It'll be on Steam and it's $15. Supposedly considered a spiritual successor to Populous.

Fallout 3 is the game I got the most play time with out of all of those choices, but it would depend on your play style.

If your looking for:

RPG->

-Story= Dragon Age

-Exploration->

=Medival= Oblivion

=Future= Fallout 3

Crazy action- GTA SA

You can get 100s of hours of enjoyment out of each game, but it just depends on what your looking for.

You want to buy a game for Steam ? What ? :o I thought most people buy games for themselves or friends. I never knew Steam could play games btw.

You could have at least answered his question ;).

I say San Andreas, but its completely different from the others. Fallout 3 is probably the best of the other three, but I prefer Oblivion, although its still not amazing IMO.

Fallout 3 in my opinion the best of you listed games, BUT it does suffer from lots of bugs and can cause a headache, but the bugs really are a hit and miss depending on your system.

Either Fallout 3 or Oblivion - both are fantastic.

Dragon Age is pretty bad, despite all the media propaganda.

Don't buy single player games. Buy Counter strike source, half life 2, call of doody, battlefield. Steam is awesome for multiplayer games. Portal 2 is fun too.

Steam is a digital platform. I want to buy a game for my Xbox 360. I want to buy a game for my Steam account. It works. No need to poke fun at his title.

Get Hitman: Blood Money, by the way.

I'm going to go with Dragon Age: Origins.

Mostly because it's the only game on your list that I like :P

I would say Fallout 3 or Oblivion. Those are 2 fantastic games with plenty hours of gameplay.

DaO for me was an epic game. Fallout 3 looks epic, i'm sure however many reviews you read on it they will all sing its praise. Newer release is Witcher II, which apparently is a very good game, and sounds like something that you would enjoy yourself. I'm waiting for Skyrim. :D
