I've been looking around for a long time at gaming mice on various sites such as, amazon, newegg, tigerdirect and so on. Logitech and Razer seem to be the best gaming mouse designing companies... I looked at mice like the Logitech MX518, G5, G7, and also looked at Razer mice, such as the Death Adder (i really liked this one), Copperhead, Lachesis, and some others. Which mouse do you guys think is the best quailty, has the most comfort, and will last me the longest? Oh and, which one is the best value overall? Thanks to anyone who helps me out. :)
I have the Ideazon Reaper Laser mouse that I got for $40. It is awesome, five programmable buttons and a dpi switch from 800-3200 on the fly. It's great I tells ya. It's still $60-80 at most retailers so if you see it on sale, grab it.
Using a Razer Copperhead laser mouse, I like it so far, but I think it's a matter of preference of what you think feels and operates well. I didn't try the Razer before buying, just bought off mostly positive reviews, and specs (not to mention the cool blue lights). I like it so far, don't remember the price, but it was about $60.
I highly recommend you use the raptor gaming m2. I've had it for over 2 years and I've found it to be better than any other mouse I've tried. Its made well, comes with weights, and has 3 extra programmable buttons.
I prefer the ocz equalizer just because it is smaller than the G series. Also, the older G5s i think were better. I dont like the texture of the new ones. Feels like i am holding a hand full of shirt tags :x
I'm pretty happy with my G5. The Razers looked good, but kinda felt funky under my paw. I'm not sure how much of a difference the G5 weight cartridge is though. Yeah it increases the mouse weight, but it doesn't really change the way I game at all. Also, I would have preferred an all black G5, as apposed to the mottled blue...
I own a Logitech G5 and i love the way it feels... my friend owns a Lachesis personally i think the G5 feels better but overall its a matter of personal oppinion...
