[QUOTE="WhiteSnake5000"]8800 or 2900.MarfooThat's overkill man, an X1950 should do the trick, or an HD 2600 or 8600GTSMeh overkill or not, no sense in getting a last generation card, especially with the cheaper 8800GT around the corner.

Yeah... okay. Can you at least make coherent sentences?wow for whoever recomended the 800sumthing GT, thats like almost 500 bucks, y would i waste my money on that? lol my computer was like 350 for tower only sweet baby jesus on ice skates

First of all, 800 something GT doesn't exist. Second, it's not $500, I even adressed that it costs $270, and lastly the $140 X1950 pro was recommended to you. WhiteSnake5000Lol, all and all aside, yes X1950 would be a good choice for you. Now here is your part, figure out if your board has a PCI Express x16 lane or an AGP slot. This card comes in either format, it just depends on your mother board. Once you figure that out you'll also need to figure out how many watts your PSU is rated for.
Oh my god...
Dude, if you don't know anything about computers, just take some time to learn, and be aware that it takes a lot of money for PC gaming.
If you don't have enough money or patience to learn about what the hell you're doing with computers, don't bother.
I'd recommend just getting an Xbox 360 or PS3, and playing Unreal Tournament 3 on there.

lol, you arent getting the point. The 8800 GT which comes out IN 9 DAYS will cost $175-250 depending on model. Therefore, there is no reason to get a video card that is essentially ALMOST 2 generations old unless he is limited to AGP cards.
