I've been planning to get a 26inch LCD HDTV for a while, but this week Best Buy have 32inch HDTV priced close to the 26inch ones. So, I'm asking to you gamers, what size of HDTV is best suitable for gaming?
For single player (not split screen so to say) gaming 32-37 inches is more than enough, if you play a lot of split screen gaming anything over 42 inches is good. i have a 46 inch hdtv that me and 3 of my friends use all the time, but whenever I'm playing by myself its almost to big. I guess i could be sitting to close (6 feet away) but still, like a lot of people already said, it all depends...
i dont own any current gen console yet but the distance between me sitting on my couch and my tv is about 3m (dunno what this is in feet) and xbox 360 games look quite nice (32" LCD)
For HD Material bigger is better, but if u still want to watch TV (non-hd) u might not want a 50" TV when sitting about 3m away from your tv :D
This will depend only on you!!! Figure out where you are going to place the tv and exactly how far you are going to be from it. Take a tape measure to a store selling a variety of TV's and stand back at the same distance you will be sitting, and figure out what YOUR comfortable with. This may sound lame but it makes the most sense. :D
