None of them. It's a copy of the game that matters most. But those two are rather important as well.

Both are very important, but I'd want a good computer over a satisfactory connection.

Well if multiplayer is really important, then I'd say that the connection is more important than the comp. I mean, you could have a kickass comp but if you lag to hell, then it's no fun at all :(

Both are vitally important however if it's has to be one over the other than Internet Connection is better. Why? You can always adjust game settings however you cannot adjust the internet connection.

I'd say it's more important to have a decent computer. At least then you can play *gasp* single player.

The computer really depends on what game your playing, you can scale that. The best build in the world won't save you from getting your head blown off because your connection lagged out.

internet connection I'd say, most games will let you drop the quality to get playable framerates on an ok computer, however if you run a 14.4k modem then there is no point.

As long as your computer meets the minimum system requirements it will always be the connection that determines how well the game plays online. A game played at the same graphical settings on a 56k connection will lag incredibly compared to a game played on a 768k or 2048k connection.

Both are important. You need both to play an online game. Free online games rarely require a monster PC though.

Both, especially when playing competitively. Requires mic and vent, or choice of chat program. But if just on for casual play...doesn't really matter. A little bit of lag is not going to affect that much.
