Hello,

After reading now several books on the hundred year war and such, I came to the conclusion that I loved to play some games that never really intrigued me, namely the strategy games focused on medieval strategy warfare. I know there is Age of Empire's which I bought, but it just is not the same, I mean there you focus so much in advancing as fast as possible to the next Age Period, that you never really spend fighting with Knights and men-at-arms and such, you only focus about "Quick, get to the powder age so I have guns since the enemy already advanced there!!!".

What are some great games out there, only focused on medieval time peroods between 1300-1500, strategy games, that you think are worth buying for single player !!!

Thanks !

This. Medieval 2 Total War is fun. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't have more fun with the Stronghold games.

Thanks a lot ! Wow, after reading some books about it, you guys got no idea what you've been missing. If some want to get a hold, get to read the Grail Quest book series by Bernard Cornwell, 3 books telling a story of a British Archer during real events that happened in the early parts of the 100 year war. I was never too big into reading until I read this !

Medieval 2: total war have a gold edition now that includes with the original game and the expansion. The game is a turn based strategy with all the battles be fought in a RTS mode. It is worth considering.
