Which is the best RTS game?

Guys which is the best RTS game? Which one should i go for?:P

I have already played Battle For Middle Earth 2, World in Conflict and Dawn of War.

Out of the poll, Company of Heroes.

CoH is awesome, but Supreme Commander is EPIC :D get it when you have money, it is really awesome and the battles are EPIC in both numbers and size, but it's 100% mechanical, you don't see people and CoH is pretty fun compared to it, but Supreme Commander is very hard and rewarding :) don't expect to last long on multi in Supreme Commander at first.

Get CoH because it's very good and when you have a chance get Supreme Commander, because it's pure war and tactics :).

I always give this vid as example for Supreme Commander because it represents it so well :). + don't worry the game looks even better than that and for optimum efficiency you need a dual core (quad core is perfect for it) and at least 2 gb of RAM.

P.S If you have any doubts, it is in game footage(both Supreme Commander and CoH).

The serene and enjoyable single player campaign of M2TW outweighs Company of Heroes extreme fast and furious gameplay.

I go for Medieval 2 Total War.

Yes, it was bundled with my Windows when I bought it in 2005.

I think the three extremely different and original races of RoL are better than the 20 similar nations in the first game, and much better than the usual orcs/elves crap in other games.

There are less resources, but the complexity is far higher in RoL. Even the buildings have different roles for each race.

i dont usually mind graphics but i like better looking games if its an rts... but for some reason supreme commander demo looked terrible... were there some hidden settings cause its a modern game and i expected it to look a lot better ... maybe i couldnt find the right settings.bionicle_lover

You are correct sir. The demo is absolute garbage. Played the demo and vowed to never buy the game then I found it for dirt cheap at GAME and am so glad I bought the game and its expansion. I haven't even gotten to the Expansion yet but everyone says it makes the game even better.

Having played both I can comfortably say that Total Annihilation is the better game, I always manage to have more fun with it. Theres just something with Supreme Commander, it feels like it's missing something that Total Annihilation had, its a good game but it just doesn't have the magic that TA overflowed with.
