I owned them all, had vic 20 with cassette tape drive! I still own commodore 64 with 300bps modem. Also had first console, odessey. I was doing bbs and was on internet when 95% of people didn't know what internet was. Damn I feel old.

I had a Vic20 too :) We may not be old but we are getting there... at least I know I am.
And people complain about loading times on today's technology lol.
Man.. you all must be under 20 years old if you only remember Doom and Wolfenstein
I grew up playing games in good ol' Green and Black games of pre windows PCs. (Jenny's Journey may be the first "game" i ever played, but we had a ton of games like Flight Simulator (not the MS flight sim you guys are all thinking of... this was a green blob that was supposed to be an airplane you flew), I think we even had a baseball game, there was a golf game... Oregon Trail and Jenny's Journey are the ones that stick out in my mind though... )
First PC game I ever spent my own money on however was Doom 2.

which is the first computer game you playednixor78The text adventure Colossal Cave (aka Adventure) on a CP/M powered machine back in the early 80s.
My first video game was Super Mario World, I think.
I was introduced to video games at a very early age, I think we got our Super Nintendo a year or so after I was born.

Anyhow here are some of my first games i remember playing on pc:
Fifa 98
Duke Nukem 3D
The first GTA(many months of my life were dedicated to this game :D )

rhazzy
Oregon trail at school. LOL
Then played C64 games at my cousins, things like Castles of Dr Creep, Legend of Blacksilver, Legacy of the Ancients, Wasteland, Gold box games.
Didn't get into PC gaming until I went to college, but I remember playing Sopwith, and Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy back in the day. They must have been released in the early to mid 80s, because I left college in 1985.
Been playing PC games ever since, though.
The first computer game I ever played? Flight Simulator 2 on 4-color CGA with maybe 5 fps and crappy PC speaker bleeps. I wasn't impressed at all. I went right back to the Atari 2600.
First video/computer game I ever played was Pong. Yep, Pong. I was six, visiting my aunt and uncle in Germany with my parents. The Wall was still up. You could look over it and see russians armed with AK-47's (or russion equivalent, I know nothing 'bout guns) garding it. My uncle had it on some contraption, I can barely remember if it was self contained or displayed on a TV, I just remember playing it and thinking it was amazing.
The first "real" PC game I played was Scorched, or Scorched Earth...something like that. 2 tanks on 2 hills that would take turns taking shots at each other's hills, blasting away the dirt. You tried to make your opponents tank fall to it's death. Me and a friend of mine used to play countless hours on that game after *cough* having a *cough* smoke and laughing our behinds off till we were in tears. Aaaaaah, the good old days. :D
It almost makes me sad to remember that actually, it would be so cool if there were more games where 2 people could play using just one computer. (I know, I know, but I'm talking PCs here, not consoles!) :P

I'm in your club. I never owned a Vic20, but my buddy did when I was a child. We used to play River Rescue and Frogger on it. My first computer was a C64...I really wish I still had that. And sleepyz...god. the Odessey was my first console, as well. I even had the voice module for it. *farts dust*
