I just wanted to know,, currently which PC game has the best graphics? The one, which makes your jaw drop when you play it, and you'll spend a lot of time just looking at the game world because its so beautifully detailed with terrific graphics.

This. Metro 2033 still tops any game out there. My 570 can't run it at max but can at high. I would reckon a 600 series card is capable of maxing the game out. To max it is to experience the glory of a beautifully rendered world (ironic, I know) but the details and how they create the magic is beautifully done in Metro 2033. Definitely one of my top favorites of all times. Alan Wake should also be considered. Its graphics aren't top notch like Metro 2033 but it's darn close. They created a really beautiful world that just makes you want to go on a vacation in Washington.Metro 2033

As good as other games look. Metro 2033 has such immense attention to detail and is very high res in a lot of it's assets. Sometimes lighting is the best you will ever see in a game but it can also be a bit weird like around fires etc. but overall that is one tasty looking game.
Metro Last Light will undoubtedly take the crown once it releases because it seems to make even 2033 look old.
BF3 is good but inconsistent. and it's undone by some of it's aesthetic choices. Skyrim Modded looks incrdible as does GTA IV but I'd like to talk Vanilla only for now.
1. Witcher 2 (Mostly becuase it´s an eye candy, superb graphics plus art design)
2. Skyrim with visual mods and High Res textures
3. Battlefield 3 maxed (From a tecnical point of view is number 1, but according to an overall perception, graphics plus art design, W2 is more eye catching)
4. Metro 2033
5. Max Payne 3
6. Crysis 2 with High Res Texture pack
7. Assasin Creed 2/3
8. Mass Effect 2
9. GTA4 with visual mods
10. Company of Heroes
That's difficult to say. People still say Crysis but I believe that's been beaten by others games by now. The lighting system in Crysis is much less advanced than newer games.
I would say it's kind of a tossup between a few games.
I would say those take the cake right now. Crysis + mods still looks amazing though, but it's really rough around the edges thanks to outdated lighting and terrible built in AA.
you got love it when a graphic question asked to a brunch of ignorants who know nothing about graphic
technical graphic,
1. crysis2 (even on lowest possible sitting)
2. BF3
3. metro2033
4. AC:R
couple other small name titles. sleeping dog has chance to be top 10
can't give skyrim and GTA4 any credits(not saying their moded visual can compare to above 3 anyway) because once a game start implanted custom shader and redraw the texture, it means the game engine itself has nothing to do with it anymore.
that is to say Mr. Bros could make anygame look like moded skyrim as long as he's willing to develop ENB for that game.
Crysis 2 with the newest Maldo mod.

Looks nice and has some really high res assets but what's up with the striped shadows?
I still don't see C2 as good but that's just me. It felt too hazy and blurred
BF3 is nowhere near number 1, even from a technical standpoint. The game uses a lot of cheap tricks to mimic demanding lighting effects and such, which is one of the reasons it runs so well. Both Crysis games are ahead of BF3 from a tech standpoint, and so is Metro. The Witcher 2 is the best looking game in my opinion, but it doesn't have the advanced features some other games have, it's really the art design that elevates the game above the rest.1. I agree with Crysis 2 with hires textures + dx11 mod. In my opinion the best graphics I've ever seen in computer game. Played it on TV too. Such a shame that gameplay isnt even near the quality of graphics.
Second place Im splitting between 3 games. Metro 2033, Max Payne 3, Battlefield 3.
Third place for Witcher 2.
4. Battlefield Bad Company 2 / Need For Speed The Run
I haven't played Skyrim, Shogun 2, Arma 2, Sleeping Dogs yet. They look amazing too.
I still consider Crysis unmatched on an over-all level of graphical proficiency. It doesn't have very many weak spots, as opposed to Crysis 2 (which is filled with weak spots every where you look).Mcspanky37
Vanilla Crysis has some bad textures by todays standards and it has some really crappy interiors. And overall graphics also encompass performance and C1 still runs poorly on some systems.

funny, if you happen to put crysis1 and 2 reverse places, then it's true, cause in vanilla, crysis1 has nothing but bad spots, where crysis2 has least unpolished placed among any vanilla video games to the date(10% or so) and textured crysis2 is absolutelyspotless while moded crysis1 still have at least 50% bad placed can't not look good due to cryengine2's shortcoming
any console games after 2011 > crysis1, I can't stop laughing at people who still bring crysis to a graphic discussion.
