Which RPG (not MMORPG) is the most complex and difficult to play, or has the steepest learning curve?

Opinions?

A game that was something along the lines of Dungion Lords or some crap... Unfortunatly it was complex in all the wrong ways, the game was an absolute mess, even simple things like enemy spawns where impossible to figure out. Sometimes you'd walk around for like 10 minutes without nothing happening and other times you'd have enemies spawn in front of you, beside you or possibly almost on top of your character in endless waves...

EVE is just friggin ruthless!! I hated that game until I was approached by a corp and Wow did that open up the game for me! I know had people to train me and give great advise. I also was told of various websites where I could find The best ships and loadouts for what I wanted to accomplish. I also was introduced to how to make Money and how to keep it(spending needlessly or on improper gear). I went on fun profitable missions and had other where I barely made it back to safety alive. In Eve it really helps to have friends!

Also having a second account help too as you can play both at the same time. I had one guy mining and the other in a transport ship storing the ore so no one could steal it. At another I had bothe my guys guarding an empty hauler trying to lure some gate campers away while the rest of my team jumped in with the goods :D

But EVE is brutal! It doesn't have a learning curve,,it's a learning cliff!!

  • Ultima VI: The False Prophet
  • Ultima VII: The Black Gate
  • Ultima VIII: Pagan
  • Darklands
  • Fallout
  • Fallout 2
  • Baldur's Gate
  • Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn
  • Arcanum of Steamworks and Magik Obscura
  • Planescape: Torment
  • The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall
  • Divine Divinity
  • Gothic
  • Gothic 2
  • Gothic 3

Might and Magic isn't complex, but it's very hard, takes a lot of time playing and it's very fun, specially Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven, my favorite.
