Which is the worst weapons ever?

What do you think is the most useless weapons ever (name the game)? I would say that many games implement grenade launchers that are mostly useless...astor47

I don't know what I would say was the worst weapon ever but I agree with you that in many games grenade launchers are badly implemented and not worth using.

Hah, I love the TMP too, especially when you're low on cash. It's so easy to get a head shot with that weapon, just spray it horizontally around the head of your enemy and you get an easy kill.

I think the m249 (saw) on CS is complete ass. When realisticly should be one of the best on the list.

The Flamethrower from Team Fortress Classic.

Does anyone ever get a kill with that? Its just annoying, I would just rather have a SuperSoaker in the game rather than that damn flamethrower.

And, forgive me lord for saying this, but...the Halflife crowbar. Sure, it breaks boxes and its all you got for three minutes in HL1 and HL2, but honestly...did you guys use it offensively after getting the handgun? Its not like you can go up to three grunts and go "Cr0wb4r luv joo n00b, bwahahha!"

I also want to honorably mention the torpedoes from Silent Hunter 3. On realistic mode, you gotta be a pro (and I aint no pro) but its like "dud, dud, dud, miss, dud, miss" and woops, all your torpedoes are gone time to take that destroyer mano e mano with your deck gun.

tmp owns in cs:s. I'd say the nail gun in tfc (not the super version)

i was trying to think of crappy guns, and the only one i could think of was the alien races burst fire pistol in KILLZONE. it sucked, did little damage, inaccurate and the clip was gone too quick

well now that i think of it, most of the guns in that game sucked anyways

oh yeah, how can i forget the snub pistol from Gears of War....comon it would be better put to use against rats and small pests, NOT LOCUST!!!! (especially in the harder difficulties)

In painkiller, the shuriken/electricity gun was pretty bad overall. Well, I mean it's not BAD, but in a game where another weapon is a rocket launcher/chaingun combo, everything starts to seem worse.

everything that kills is better than bare hands.....but out of the weapons i've used in a game, i dislike Thompson sub the most. it's powerful, no mistake aboutthat, but i mean for a gun it couldn't look any uglier than that. i drop it every time i get the chance in CoD1/2.

BLASPHEMY!! I found myslef using the crowbar a lot after getting it. Works well in cloe encounter and especially well against headcrabs of all flavors.

Also yea, Bio Rifle has to be the least effective weapon I have ever seen...

Snipers are NOT worthless. Play as one and you'll find out why.

Hmmmmm...worstweapon ever... I'd have to say Quake II's blaster. Wimpiest thing on the planet. Although, UT2K4's assualt rifle isn't far behind.

Bio Rifle. And yeah, it's sorta weak.

I also forgot about the Webley in Call of Duty UO and Call of Duty 2. Piss poor accuracy. UO is still an incredible expansion pack, however. If you own Call of Duty and not UO, hit yourself over the head with a baseball bat and then go over to you local software store and BUY IT.

When I use the Bio Rifle I end up killing my self most of the time XD and the worst weapon the rifle in Halo its so damn inaccurate and the it sounds so annoying

I don't know why everyone in hating on the Bio Rifle. I always end up using it if its the only weapon around and i'll still kill someone with a better weapon and take it. Its still not a weapon of choice though.

I always hated the Needler from Halo. Doesnt do much damage and it take forever to do the damage meanwhile there still shooting at you and your reloading cause it runs out of ammo too quick.

Ya those guns did suck, but you gotta admit the automatic rifle with the secondary fire being a sniper is pretty sweet. And the gun that can absorb different types of ammo was really strong.

The most useless one is the crossbow in Half-Life 2. That things holds jack in terms of ammo and the bolts are radioactive yet provide nothing special. IT also sinks way too much and doesn't even have a normal crosshair out of scope.

I'd have to say the klobb from Goldeneye. That thing couldnt hit the broadside of a barn. THe only redeeming feature was theat annoyingly sweet sound it made.VaultDweller
