Im looking for a laptop that can game and is easy to carry. I know both these laptops are not for extreme gaming. I was hoping to play in medium settings

Which do you think should I get? A 13" VAIO SR5 with a DDR3 Mobility HD 4570 or a 14" VAIO CW with a DDR3 GT 230M? Again Im looking for a laptop that can play modern games while easy to carry.

These are the games Im planning to play:

Modern Warfare 2

Force Unleashed

Borderlands

Left 4 Dead 2 - can either of the laptops play these at max settings?

How big difference in the performance of a HD 4570 and a GT 230M? Looked at notebookcheck.net and it showed GT 230M is 30+ higher than the HD 4570 while others says they almost have the same performance

Are there other 13" laptops that has a GT 230M other than Asus U3 (forgot the model number)

the gt230m is the best bet.knowing sony laptops mine runs a lot cooler and i have managed to overclock it quite a bit.so get the gt230m and overclock it to 240m speeds and you have a very capable gpu and it also has opencl, physx, cuda, directcompute support

Ive read somewhere that a DDR2 4570 is almost as fast as the DDR3 GT 230M that true? If thats the case then a DDR3 4570 would be faster than a DDR3 GT 230M

the gt230m has more overclocking headroom than 4570 which is already operating at its max.and the gt230m is way ahead than 4570,there is no doubt about it.the 4570 has only a 64bit bus which is not at all suitable for gaming.the gt230m is also based on nvidia's latest g216 core and note that the gt280m which is the high end mobility gpu still has the g92core
