WTF? there's a 1GB GDDR4 one now? I thought that was only for the XTX one...

8800GTS, GTX and HD 2900XT - all great cards, choosing which one is the harder part :(

im sure there isnt much of a diff but maybe at 1920x1200 there is =/

Nah, the extra latency and lack of need for the 1GB of RAM don't translate into a performance increase.

Maybe in 2-3 years time, but by then, there'll be better GPU cores.

Oh and btw, between those two, go for the MSI ULTRA.
