I am a chemistry student, so I will be running highly computative molecular modeling softwares, so I need good memory on my laptop. I will be watching movies and I will defenitely be playing low spec games like first halo, wow & guild wars. So, I need your help, tell me which laptop should I buy.

Hp Special Edition

Thoshiba Fusion Edition

I much prefer HP to Toshiba, but I also prefer Intel to AMD, so I'm conflicted :D I'd say go for the HP though because it's smaller and lighter. Small = Good for college use.

Neither, I'd really recommend getting a dedicated card even though you will be gaming light. This ACER is $50 more:

It has an 8600GS which will run even new games on medium/high, as well as help smooth out your video editing. Acer is a solid brand like Toshiba and HP as well, you can feel comfortable giving them your money.

If you're dead set on the two you stated however, go for the HP. The 7150 is better than Toshiba's x3000, and besides, the HP looks cooler.
