Which of These HDTV Brands Is The Best?

So I've decided that if one of these brands go on sale then I will buy it. I'm going to be getting a 40" 120hz lcd hdtv at the end of this month and I need your opinion about which one you think is the best and possibly which one is the worst (It would really help thanks) for gaming.

yup you can't go wrong with a panny plasma tv.

Some tips.

I wouldn't recommend a 120hz LCD any day of the week for gaming. Awful input lag and poor picture quality. I would suggest something along the lines of:

The good LED LCD's start around $2,000+

I'd like you to take a look at these two:

Panasonic VIERA TC-P42X1 42" Plasma TV - $579.99

Samsung LN46A630 46" LCD TV 120Hz (Refurbished) - $929.95

Both items have impressive expert ratings of 86 and 85 respectively making them the best LCD TV you can buy for the budget.

phillips is better then LG.

i got a 47` 1080pphillips magnavox for 999,almost 3 years ago and it still looks as good as the day i bought it. normal cable is great, prolly best i seen ona hdtv. no lag or anything when playing games. havent used the pc hook up on it yet. dought i ever do lol. i might try out a plasma for my bed room maybe a nice 42`samsung 1080 p one for about the same price as my magnavox. im just scred of burn in but i heard its a non issue now a days. so im really leaning towards one.
