lol guild wars, i logged on to that a few days ago. i got one lvl 20 and quit, and the guy has 3 mini pets which apparently go for tons of money lol. anyone want em?BenTheJamin
That's like saying "I got past the tutorial and quit." The point of the game isn't getting to lv20; in fact, doing that means less than nothing. The main focus of the game by a large margin is the PVP.Â
I'd say the game I invested the most time into is also the game I now hate the most - Everquest. I'm glad I don't remember the exact /played amount... it wasn't as bad as most players but it was still pathetic.
[QUOTE="Teuvan"]I've got close to 1700 hours in Guild Wars. Probably spent more on Everquest, but there wasn't a counter back then.trav_have
1700 hours.................?
Holy crap..thats more than if you played for 2 months straight.Â
That's nothing. Some of the old EQ guilds required potential members to have had a minimum of 365+ days of playtime. That's ingame time... an entire year's worth of time spent playing the game.I'll have to say Jedi Outcast Multiplayer for about two years whenever I had time. WoW took a lot of time until I stopped it about year ago.
The rest is usually CSS, or Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2.Â
CS:S, Battlefield 2, Everquest 2, and Starwars Galaxies (Pre-cu) are all ones i know i'v played for more than 700 hours
Warhammer 40,000 - Dawn of War...Dawn of War: Winter Assault...Dawn of War: Dark Crusade
I would guess that I've spent probably upward of 500 hours playing those games in total.
Also Starcraft...many many many hours wittled away mastering the might Protoss, tough-spirited Terran and ravenous Zerg.
WoW
Silent Hunter 4 (its pretty fun if you can just forget about how much better SH3 was in comparison)
C&C 3
Hitman: Blood Money
The game I have played the most, sadly, is WOW. I spent over two years and logged over 2000 hours into that game. Thankfully the expansion came along and ruined everything that was great about the game so I was able to quit for good back in February once I realized this.
The games I am currently playing are Guild Wars and Final Fantasy XI. However, I am spending far more time modding FFXI than I am actually playing it.Â
I have logged around 150 days of playtime in Eve Online. That's about 3600 hours.Â
Other than that, I would have to say Diablo II prolly comes in second.
[QUOTE="mcflurry4321"]But how much of that was actually playing the game vs letting it run while your skills train themselves?I have logged around 150 days of playtime in Eve Online. That's about 3600 hours. sircyrus
In eve skills train no matter if you are logged or not. So that is 100% playtime more or less.

Yes, but most of the time is spent AFK or doing something else while you fly on autopilot from one place to the next. I wouldn't count it as playing during that time, only the points in which you're controlling the game manually.C & C 3 for me. I have Supreme Commander, STALKER, and Rainbow Six still sitting in the foil.
As a matter of fact, I seem to enjoy buying games more than playign them? Â Â

Trust me, I mean it when I say those 150 hours are me in front of the computer playing eve. Not doing something else.

The Warp to 0 KM change has slashed travel time drastically. If you were put off by Eve's travel times before, then try the game now.Â

Yeah WTZ is great. I mean, yeah you have to manually travel, but it saves so much time. Not to mention it makes it easier to get past campers. Definitely try the game again if you didn't like it before!Â
