Ok. I thought I was going to get this:

http://www.extremepc.co.nz/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=134_265&products_id=4073&zenid=e33af5a505748dadf286ae49e302712e

Its a nice PC, but I want to make sure I can upgrade it in the future, and it only has DDRII. So I found this:

http://www.extremepc.co.nz/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=134_265&products_id=3576

This one has DDRIII, a better sound card, and roughly the same processor but Intel, but it would cost me $200NZ more.

Which is a better value wise and for future upgrades?

Cheers in advance

both are quite overpriced, but if you are going to chose one, then the second. i suggest you build your own, you could build those pcs for significantly less money.

I'd get the first one and put another 5770 in it. $200 more for the LGA 1156 socket? Nah...

Both are NZ dollars, so they are actually pretty good value wise. If I was to build it however:

http://www.extremepc.co.nz/index.php?main_page=shopping_cart&zenid=2f4d5ae24414a029655d699bf1094fb9

$1269.33

Thats actually a better option. Not really sure about the motherboard though.
