alright. so its down to fallout, left 4 dead, or cod5. and i have some questions about the longevity of these games

for fall out i was wondering

 1. how different is each quest? are they mostly kill this or find and bring me that kinda stuff? or are they actual meaning full quests with satesfying endings?

 2. how is the story? is it deep and engaging? will i want to continue playing because of it?

3. how are the set pieces? is the land static or are there any epic battles with huge setpieces? im a sucker for scale.

4. ive heard it gets boreing. your thoughts on that?

5.lastly how are the wepons? are there alot? are they satesfying?

 thanks!

I was shocked how quickly Fallout ended...Way too short. I thought I was about at the half way mark and then the credits started rolling.

I would recommend getting Left4Dead. I've heard that the main quest in Fallout 3 goes by pretty fast, which is why I've been doing everything but the main quest.

I have heard CoD 5 has an extremely short campaign (Which supposedly is pretty good), so if you happen to have a 360 or a PS3, rent it first.

Quests are very varied. The quests are meaningful and usually very very rewarding.

 2. how is the story? is it deep and engaging? will i want to continue playing because of it?

I found the story to be kind of shallow as you have to look for your dad half the time for no apparent reason. You will want to continue playing because of your character, not so much storyline.

3. how are the set pieces? is the land static or are there any epic battles with huge setpieces? im a sucker for scale.

The wastelands are HUGE.

4. ive heard it gets boreing. your thoughts on that?

If you find sidequeststhen you will never be bored as they are all very good.

5.lastly how are the wepons? are there alot? are they satesfying?

Not many weapons and the hunting rifle / mini nuke launcher are the most satisfying for me.

 thanks!
