Vampire Bloodlines had some memorable tracks in it.  It wasn't all metal though.

The GTA series all had pretty good music, a range of genres.  I'd always switch to some intence opera for the big jumps :D

Seconded on UT. And it's borderline, but the 'Hell March' song from C&C: Red Alert is going to stay in my memory forever. It's pretty easy to Google up IIRC.

Prince of Persia: Warrior Within has some very nice hard rock, Vampire Bloodlines has Swamped by Lacuna Coil as it's theme song which is some really good gothic metal. Flatout 2 has some good music if you're into the "hardcore" genre like me.

Yeah, Warrior Within's music is all right.

This is off topic, but I think it's pretty cool how you have actual pictures of your PC specs. I haven't seen that in a signature before. The picture's aren't annoyingly huge like in other signatures.

Three words: Hell. March. Two. From C&C: Red Alert 2, probibly the most "famous" soundtracks of all. You can listin to the song at http://www.frankklepacki.com , go to the bottom of the page, and under the music box, click "C&C soundtrack" (or similar), and about half-way through, you can listin to the full song of HM2... it kicks ass :)

you guys are forgetting about quake 1 and 2!!!

Trent reznor did quake 1, and quake 2 was done by a group called Sonic mayhem which sounded truly awesome for a Game too. I still put it on when playing Quake 4 DM sometimes to reminisce. Very hard rocking indeed

Command and Conquer in general has awesome hard rockin tracks especially RA2. Quake 2 is probably still one of my fav game soundtracks. Am I the only one who sees a resemblance in some of the Quake 2 tracks to Pantera? Particularly their song Mouth of War. Oh and another one fo my all time favorite heavy soundtracks, Twisted Metal, sadly thats for the playstation.

For a more modern choice I guess any UT is good for it although I sadly dont encounter enough metal in my video game soundtracks

FAKK 2, that game based on the heavy metal comics/animation.

And it has a gas powered chainsaw sword!  Good luck finding it though

And a hell of a first post...keep it up lol

Hell March rules for sure.  And hearing Hell March 2 in Red Alert 2 immediately gave me warm fuzzy memories of Red Alert 1.

I'm surprised, nobody has said Destruction Derby 2.

I can still play a few of the songs on my guitar just from the constant listening over and over. It was some amazing music for a title of that nature.

Heck, I remember burning a CD of the music for a friend :-p
