intel prescott 651 @3.6ghz with 2Mb Cache paired with an 8800GTS 320Mb and 1 gig ddr ram/pc3200

OR

Core 2 Duo e6300 paired with 7900GT KO 256Mb and 1 gig ddr2 ram.

thoughts would be appreciated, also the bottom option is about 50-60 bucks more $$$ because i would need to change ram and mobo so what u guys think?

if you could save up and get the bottom one with the 8800gts, that would be the best option.

I would rather have a C2D. Just save like $80 more and get 8800GTS.

Wow thats a rip off for a 8800GTS 320mb. At newegg.com you can get a EVGA one for $280 right now. I dont think newegg.com ships to canada though. I dont know what to tell you.

get the bottom one the top one is crap it has a direct 10 card but there's no direct 10 games out and single core cpu's are getting outdated. The bottom one is a great machine it might not have a direct 10 card but its a really powerfull direct 9 card and like a said theres no  direct 10 games out so the 7900GT should get you running games on max settings
