Ok I have an old dell with a 2.4 ghz cpu and 2 gig of ram. Which of these would be better for running oblivion, gtr2, company of heroes at any settings? Or is there a better option that is under $100?

Radeon HD 2400PRO 256MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI

GeForce FX 5500 256MB 128-bit DDR PCI

Radeon 9250 256MB 128-bit DDR PCI

Yeah, it's a dimension 3000.

I expect people to tell me I'm better of saving up cash and buying a new setup but really it's either a graphics card or nothing b/c as much as I'd like to do that, any amount of money that is significant will be saved for more important things.

from what i've read i thought that one would be the best. But i also wonder if the fact that it's 64 bit and not 128 bit might hinder it any.

I'm adding some new info and another question. My friend has a 4x agp comp w/ a 256mb nvidia 6200 and I'm fine w/ that low level of performance. I found that I can get similar cards that are pci so my question would be, how would they compare to that one and to others noted in this thread?

EVGA 256-P1-N399-LX GeForce 6200 256MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI

this one looks to be almost the same one as the agp one but from a different company.

This one doesn't have any reviews but says it's 512mb. I find it strange and was wondering why nobody would rate or buy it.

And also, they have the 6200 256mb w/ both 64bit and 128bit. is the 128bit worth $40 more?

Why are we discussing those outdated cards? Go for the 8500GT/2400PRO.

I'm in the midst of a learning process. I think I'm going to wait a bit and then go ahead and get the 8500gt even though it was a little above what I was thinking about paying, it seems it may be worth it.
