which processor would u choose

i dont no what processor to get i can get either an

IntelĀ® CoreTM2 Duo Processor E4300 (2MB L2 Cache,1.80GHz,800 FSB)

or a AMD AthlonTM 64 X2 Dual-Core 4400+

i no they arent the top of the line but they will do for my type of gaming which shoud i choose and yes the computer will be prebuit and the price is the same for either so which one?

The Intel has larger Cache, but all and all to me they are the same, and since I'm an AMD guy anyways I would choose the AMD

They are probably quite similar in their processing power, but the Intel is a very good overclocker if you're interested in that.

As it is, Intel has more powerful processors, but AMD have VERY good prices!

Make it a Core 2 Duo E4400, and it's no contest. If you can't, is that Athlon the 2x1MB L2 cache 4400 clocked at 2.2GHz, or the newer 2.3GHz version with 2x512KB of L2 cache?
