If your going for a single card solution like me, then a Corsair 620W is the best way to go. Modular and very Space and Airflow friendly. Though a bit more expensive than the 850W.

I hate to break it to you, but determining what is and what isn't a good PSU does not soley sit with wattage. The number of amps on the 12v rail among other things are particularly important. As is whether or not it is a True 80+ power supply.

Cosair PSUs are very good, some of the most acurate voltages, good amps and they're modular, though you're paying for more watts than you need

An i7 set up will run perfectly fine on a Corsair HX620W PSU specially if your only going for a Single GPU solution. Actually, single GPU solutions are a good way to avoid a few problems and compatability issues of SLi.

Those blue lights depend on your ATX case and on your fans. If they have LED then they will light up like a christmas tree. Well some people add a few mods with more lighting on their case but its just for aesthetic purposes, serves no performace improvment.

I would say get the corsair 850 watt, it will last longer and increase your upgrade options. :P

But Im a little concerend with the Airflow inside the case though. The Corsair 850 Watts is not Modular.
