I have 20 bucks, which should I buy, Magicka which I played the demo and had so much fun, Dragon Age 2, which I can buy off my friend for 15 bucks, or Civilization 5, which is on sale on steam(btw I loved civ 4). Please don't bother telling me how different these 3 games are, I know. But from your experience, which one would best suit a casual rpg/fps/rts pc gamer like me?TFC_FlameryOr do you guys have any other suggestions?
Since Civilization V is on sale for so cheap I feel inclined to suggest it. That said, both of the other choices are also great games.
Civ V is good but it's not as good as Civ IV (which you already own), DA:2 is possibly the worst modern mainstream RPG ever made (so bad, in fact, that it's enjoyable in a, "wtf were they thinking?" kind of way but it does get old fast) and Magicka is pretty decent for what it is. It's a tough call, honestly. I suppose if I had to pick one I'd go with Civ V.
Dragon Age 2 - not worth it ... unless it drops to 10 bucks - it's not worth it !
Magicka - only if you have friends to play co-op with since SP becomes rather boring later one using the same spells over and over and over ... only the humor can somewhat keep you playing.
Civilization V - totally worth it, Civ5 doesn't get a 75% discount every day, the SP expirience is always different becouse of starting area and MP is twice as fun since you can always find someone to march to war with and end up with different results. There are some changes since the 4th game but the game still shines as it should.
